Upload a BIN, define maps, edit values, compare against stock, and export the modified file. Ecuno focuses on Bosch ME7/ME7.5 workflows.
Built for DIY tuners and ME7 hobbyists — nothing to install, your original stock file stays untouched, and it works from any browser.
Runs in the browser. Keep your original stock file and review changes before exporting.
Ecuno does not tune the file for you. It's the manual workbench — you decide every change, and the tool keeps the stock reference, the diff, and the checksum honest.
Create named maps from addresses, rows, columns, data type, factor, offset, and axis locations. Edit values in a table view instead of working only from raw hex.
Keep the original file as reference. Changed cells stay marked, and selected values show stock, modified, and delta.
Validate and correct checksums for supported ME7 / ME7.5 files, and see checksum state before export instead of shipping blind.
Keep maps, notes, and edited versions together instead of saving random files like final_final_v3.bin.
Work from manual definitions and importable map packs. Bring your own — no proprietary packs are bundled.
Start from the original file, define the maps you need, edit values, review changes, and export a new version.
Upload or open the original .bin file. Ecuno focuses on Bosch ME7 / ME7.5 workflows.
$ open stock_file.bin$ family Bosch ME7 / ME7.5$ status stock loaded
Create maps from known addresses, axes, data type, factor, offset, and units. Edit values in table view and keep the original file as reference.
$ map KFMIRL @ 0x1C830$ size 16 x 16$ unit % load
Check what changed against stock, validate and correct the checksum, then export the modified BIN.
$ diff 4 maps changed$ checksum validated + fixed$ export tune_v03.bin
Ecuno focuses on one ECU family first. The goal is to make ME7 / ME7.5 map editing, stock comparison, project saving, checksum handling, and BIN export reliable before adding more ECU families.
Supported variants are listed clearly. If an ECU family is not documented, assume it is not supported yet.
Ecuno is a working editor now — not a promise. Everything that's live is above; everything still planned is gathered here, in one place, so nothing else on the page has to hedge.
The browser editor, 3D map view, stock comparison, second-BIN compare, project saving, version history, map definitions, the datalog viewer, BIN export, and ME7 / ME7.5 checksum validation are all working today.
Expand carefully beyond Bosch ME7 / ME7.5 once the core editor, comparison, and checksum systems are proven.
A2L and DAMOS definition formats on top of the manual definitions, .xdf, and map packs available today.
